Worship

At HMC we are blessed to have highly talented worship teams at our Sunday services, who lead us in traditional hymns at 7:00am and then contemporary worship at 9:00am. If you enjoy singing or playing music, we would love to welcome you to our worship ministry.

Children's Church

We’re dedicated to partnering with parents to lead children to become fully devoted followers of Christ. Through age-specific lessons, activities, and worship, children from toddlers to Grade 7 learn biblical truths and real-life lessons they can apply to their lives.

PRAyer Ministry

At HMC we aim to build, strengthen and support the most important ministry in our church, which is prayer. Through our various prayer ministries, we enable and encourage church members to pray continually and effectively while making prayer a part of everything they do.

MISSIONS & OUTREACH

Hillcrest Methodist Church was integral in the establishment of the Hillcrest Aids Centre Trust in 1990, and to this day we continue to support the Respite Unit and various initiatives of HACT. We feel strongly that we are called to make an impact in our community. Our mission and outreach ministries include:

Harvest Festival – Distributing food to those in need
Ukukhanya Primary School – Weekly reading programme
Winter Warmth Collection & Track-a-Thon – Providing blankets and clothing for those in need
